QuantArena is a sophisticated financial technology platform that combines AI capabilities with traditional stock market simulation. Built with Python, Flask, and PostgreSQL for the backend, the platform features real-time market data integration through Alpha Vantage APIs. The frontend, developed with React and Chart.js, provides interactive visualizations for performance benchmarking and strategy analysis.
The platform includes advanced financial metrics modules such as Sharpe Ratio, Maximum Drawdown, and Sortino Ratio calculations. Users can participate in trading challenges, compete on leaderboards, and analyze their performance through comprehensive data visualization tools.
